A fortified city with a population of 1 million. Entrance flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side – good guys on left, demons on leg.

Bayon – Byudd – Buddhist temple. Towers, with four faces representing King Jayavarman VII. Brilliant bas-reliefs with 11,000 figures.
