The approach to Aburatsu

Got the bus from Aburatsu to Aoshima – lovely drive along the coast. Miyazaki seems to have a microclimate – lots of palm trees around and they grow lots of tropical fruits – renowned for mangoes.

Aoshima shrine is supposed to give divine blessings to those who want to get married so this is dedicated to Charlotte and Jerome 😘

Then back on the bus to Udo Jingu – a gorgeous shrine right on the coast
