Got the train for a fantastic  day at Mount Fuji

Got the cable car to the top of the hill and rang the bell, then stroked the rabbits for strong legs and wisdom, and threw pottery discs through a hole for luck

Then a boat ride on lake kawaguchi

Then a bus ride round lake kawaguchi and lake sai-ko

Got off to visit some caves carved out by Fuji’s last eruption – cold enough to have ice inside permanently
