Went on a dhow cruise around the bay – unfortunately the sea was a bit too lively to have a swim. Some beautiful boats and yachts in the harbour

A brilliant graffiti wall – “the Sultan’s visitors’ book” – sailors from visiting ships painted the names of ships that visited the Muscat anchorage on the black rocks that form its backdrop.
